No Leftovers

Lev 22:29  And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.
Lev 22:30  On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.

The LORD knows our hearts, so when we offer thanksgiving, we should mean it. When we eat our thanksgiving feast, we should be thankful to the LORD. The command to not have leftovers does not apply to our turkeys. I like feasting on the leftovers in the days following thanksgiving. Let us all thank the Lord for his bounty and the peace we have enjoyed for so many years. Things happen sometimes suddenly, to change the events of our life. I am thankful that the LORD changes not and that he is faithful. We will have a feast with Jesus in the future. Keep your faith in God and his word with thanksgiving.

Rev 19:7  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 19:9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
