Face to Face

Exo 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend...

Moses was one of the most humble of men and the LORD had chosen him to lead his people out of bondage.  Moses would hear from God to do what he was to do, as he knew in himself he could do nothing. His dependence on God and his humility resulted in a personal relationship to the LORD. He spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend...

Jesus was sent by his Father to earth to redeem a people from the bondage of sin and to make them adopted sons of God. Jesus is the Living Word of God. Through the redemption in Jesus and the word of God, the Bible, we see the truth of God. We know enough to be saved from sin. The Bible shows us who we are like a mirror to our soul.

1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

We are given spiritual understanding through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

As we understand more we are becoming more like Jesus.

1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

When we are with Jesus in our glorified bodies we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. We will be in a new dimension of being with him and we shall understand the things of God who loves us. We have nothing to fear in Jesus.
