The accuser

The accuser

The nation seems to be ruled by accusers. No one takes responsibility for their actions. Politicians accuse each other and all are guilty, so are the people. People accuse one another and sue for personal gain. People say they deserve things that most of there world does without. Those who report the news lie to promote their vision of reality, but they are spiritual blind. They are not unlike the Pharisees in Jesus' time following him, looking for a reason to accuse him.

Jesus spoke of blind leaders; the Pharisees were offended.

Mat 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.Mat 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?Mat 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

The devil is an an accuser a thief and a killer.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

We should not be accusing someone else of what we are guilty of

Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Accusers usually are hypocrits.

Mat 12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.Mat 12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?Mat 12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.Mat 12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.Mat 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

The law

John 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.John 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:Rom 2:15 Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

The accused woman

John 8:1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.John 8:2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.John 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,John 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this womanwas taken in adultery, in the very act.John 8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?John 8:6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.John 8:8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.John 8:9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.John 8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Each of the accusers were guilty of sin.

Jesus brings mercy and life, truth and grace. We are to witness the truth in the Spirit of God, in love.

We warn people

Acts 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.Acts 20:31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Warn of hell

Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.Mat 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;Mat 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

warn of adulltery and lust

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.Mat 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.Mat 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.Mat 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of

Show mercy

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Where is truth?

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
All are guilty and need Jesus and Biblical values

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Who can accuse Christ's elect

1 Pet 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.1 Pet 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.Luke 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
