On Eagles Wings

As the nation seems to be pushing away from God, He will have to bring judgement to the land. The people who love God must humble themselves and pray for our nation and our people. He will be with those who trust in him and deliver them as he delivered Israel from Egyptian bondage.

Exo 19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
Exo 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

The LORD seeks a Holy people, a holy nation. America has been blessed because we were founded on the desire to worship God in freedom. The constitution was given to protect the free exercise of religion from the tyranny of government. A government that wants to take the place of God will not stand, but the people of God will be lifted up on eagle's wings if we trust our LORD.

Deu 32:11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
Deu 32:12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

Jacob was protected by God and brought out of bondage. When we must do something by faith; overcome an illness, leave a job, go to a new land, as the young eagles jumped from their high nest trying their little wings, the LORD like an eagle catches them, catches you and I. He bears us up and he covers us with his wings. Jesus wants to protect us with his wings; he cried to his people in Jerusalem to come to him.

Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

As I grow older and my friends with me, I forget things, my body gets tired, troubles come our way, but we have his Holy Spirit.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Isa 40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

How true this is. LORD fill your people with your Holy Spirit, renew our strength and help us to keep you near in everything we do. We are lifted up on eagle's wings, we run and are not weary; we walk and do not faint, because we walk with you.
