Good tree or a bad tree?

Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Mat 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Mat 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

A liar will say something as truth, but then his actions show his true intent. The fruit is in the actions and the behavior, not in words. Words are important, for every idol word will be judged in the day of judgement. How much more shall our works be judged? Is it possible to say good words and do miracles and still miss eternal life? Yes, for the life may be a sham, a self willed life. How else are these words of Jesus understood?

Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Perhaps these are like the New Age believers? They were not really doing the Lord's will. LORD, may we not be pretenders, but be the true disciples of Jesus Christ. May our words be true and our actions matching our words and may all be in your will and for your glory. Amen
