Walk with Faye

Faye went with me on an afternoon walk.
 It was a cool and windy walk, but refreshing.
 I pushed her in her wheelchair around the main trail.

1Pe 3:7  Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
1Pe 3:8  Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
1Pe 3:9  Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

A man greeted us and following him at a distance was this little puppy. Dogs are supposed to be leashed, but I did not fear this little guy.

Mat 15:26  But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
Mat 15:27  And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

 Do you see the ant eater? They eat insects and bugs.

Mark 1:6  And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
Mark 1:7  And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
Mark 1:8  I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

 From the pond a coot has caught his lunch with small legs hanging down from his beak;
 it must be a frog. He swallowed it down whole.

Exo 8:5  And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
Exo 8:6  And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

The wind blew hard on the river making patterns of blue. There is an Indian casino calling itself the
 Win River," things are better on the river". . . In reality it is located on a creek. I suppose "up the creek" did not sound as good as a slogan for a gambling casino.

Psa 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The blackberry leaves form a wreath  of thorns near the river shouting that Fall is here. Fall brings death to the leaves but new life comes in the Spring.

John 19:1  Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
John 19:2  And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
John 19:3  And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.

Mat 28:5  And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
Mat 28:6  He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
