Hardness of Hearts

Mark 10:2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
Mark 10:3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
Mark 10:4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
Mark 10:5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
Mark 10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
Mark 10:8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

For the hardness of your heart Moses made a rule for divorce; a bill of divorcement. A hard heart does not seek to do the will of God. We make new laws to justify the hardness of our hearts. A hard heart is closed to God. A hard heart is a spiritually uncaring sinful heart. Homosexual marriage is not according to God's plan. Abortion for convenience is not a law of God, it is because of the hardness of the soul and the lusts of the flesh. Lust for power may destroy a nation. Hard hearts remove the laws based on the Bible. To move in God's will is progress. Progressive now means to do the opposite of God's will, because of the hardness of hearts. There is a right way and a wrong way. Rights are from God; he tells us what is right or wrong. Gay rights, women's rights and feminism, pro choice, these are rebellious demands from hard hearts. If we do right, then we will not be promoting these sinful things and calling them "rights".

I awaken this morning to see one of my old screen names has been stolen from someone in Thailand to sell something illegal to those I love online, because of the hardness of hearts. A persons name can be destroyed because of another's sin. God knows our hearts, so we keep going and we are not to be like them. We are the born again with new hearts. If someone in Thailand can secretly steal my name, then we will send the gospel message all over the world to save hard hearts from God's judgment.

Eze 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

Jas 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Jas 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Jas 5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
Jas 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
Jas 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

We keep going and do His good will, making a difference. Let us keep our hearts fixed on our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself a sacrifice to give us the way to become tender hearted and loving servants of God. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We are to be like him and make a difference in this world.
