For thy sake and for our sakes

Psa 44:20  If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
Psa 44:21  Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
Psa 44:22  Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
Psa 44:23  Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
Psa 44:24  Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
Psa 44:25  For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
Psa 44:26  Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake.

The LORD did not forget his people. We serve him and do not deny him ...Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter. We may be persecuted and killed, we may die in battle but we do not forsake our LORD. He sent his Son to die one time for all people for all time he shed his blood, the Lamb of God who takes away our sins. This is our message to the world blinded by satan and their own lusts. The Lamb of God has taken your sins upon himself. He shed his blood for our sake and he is risen from the grave to give us eternal life. He has given us what we could not get for ourselves. He has justified us and he loves us.

Rom 8:32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The love of God is in Christ Jesus, and he does not share his glory with any other false prophet or false god.
