An Empty Vine

Hos 10:1 Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
Hos 10:2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

Israel is an empty vine the LORD spoke through the prophet. Are we an empty vine to the LORD. The vine is to have good fruit unto the LORD. He is glorified by our fruit.

Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

We must be connected to the vine that is Jesus, to bear much fruit. Are we like Israel that mouthed allegiance to the LORD, but they served other idols? What are the idols that we bring with us, even to our churches? Is it not self? or pleasure? Perhaps wealth and things? Do you see how divided this is? Where is the spiritual fruit?
Faithfully sharing God's word is good fruit. Harvesting souls is eternal fruit. To glorify God with our lives is our purpose and it starts with loving him above all else. Let us make needed corrections.

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Php 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
