All we have comes from God to do his purposes. The anointing and the
filling of the Holy Spirit was given to people for various purposes. For
building the holy things of God, for speaking his holy words, all by his
grace.

Exo 31:5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

In the time of Noah, everyone had turned from God, so he had to destroy
what was not good. In this end time it is again as the time of Noah, yet there
is a people called according to his purposes. We are to be his people doing his
calling until he takes us home to glory with Jesus.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that
love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
