ReCreation

Our trip to the ocean at Crescent City was about recreation...not only in activities, but also in thoughts and in vision. Where do we go from here? It is good to have someone going along with you, my wife and daughter accompanied me. A mosaic was on the outside of a restaurant at Trinidad pier. It was very well done. The creator had a vision of what salmon could look like as a mosaic, using colored tiles the vision became a reality. He did not quit but completed the project. Our vision may not include all the details, but if we get an idea and begin and do not give up, the vision will be a reality.

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pro 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Two Jellyfish, made from iron. A clever sculpture and unusual. It fit into the ocean environment, but if someone was not familiar with jellyfish, it would have little meaning.  I do not see this as an object of worship. Our gifts may be accepted or not understood. Go in the direction of the fulfillment of your purpose.

Lev 26:1  Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

Two dollar store kites make a simple  connection with the wind and a bit of fun with my daughter.  When the wind died down the kites fell. When the spirit (wind) leaves a life the spiritual life has gone. LORD keep me in your spirit.

Luke 23:46  And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Crescent City harbor docks have been recreated and made stronger to withstand future storms. The storms of life are to make us stronger if we have a vision and do not give up.

1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1Pe 1:5  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1Pe 1:6  Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
1Pe 1:7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1Pe 1:8  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1Pe 1:9  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

The ocean rock looks to me like an eagle. I call it eagle rock. I wonder if others have seen this too?

Php 2:19  But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
Php 2:20  For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
Php 2:21  For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.
Php 2:22  But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.
