Having lost my dear friend and ministry partner, Earl. I really have no one
of like mind that will go with me to various places to minister. We really do need to be
connected, not only with friends of like minds in Christ, but also the older
with the younger Christian.
The apostle Paul had ministry partners, Barnabas and Silas were his
partners at different times. Mark had flunked out, being unable to endure the
hardship of ministry, but in the end he was one of Paul's faithful ministry
friends. Paul had a special ministry with young Pastor Timothy. The experienced
apostle sharing with the younger man of faith. Paul's letters to Timothy show
the wisdom of Paul to the younger minister.
2Ti 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ
Jesus.
2Ti 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
2Ti 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Ti 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
2Ti 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Paul was all about saving the lost and making disciples. This is also the
goal of our ministry. We can minister alone, but it is better to have another of
like mind and vision to minister with you. We do not grow in the Lord only to
wither up and blow away. Holy Spirit blow on me, and on those wanting your life
giving spirit. Flow out living water, not to drown in sorrow, but to bless
others with the life of Christ in them and the hope of eternal life through
faith in Christ Jesus. Amen
