Prophesy against False Prophets

Eze 13:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 13:2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
Eze 13:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

They liked the title of prophet and the attention given, like many do today, but they were speaking from their own minds, not from the LORD.

Eze 22:28 And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

Jer 14:13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.
Jer 14:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

There are ministers in the churches who only want to say uplifting things to make the people feel good, but what about sin and hell? Prophets are not to speak out of their own thoughts, false words that the LORD has not spoken. It seems that there are an abundance of self proclaimed prophets today as well. The LORD was very strongly against these in the Old Testament. Has the New Testament teachings watered down the penalty for false prophesy?

Mar 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Mar 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

The LORD will bring swift destruction to the false teachers and the false prophets.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

The LORD has not changed.
