Saved From Our Past

Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

We were not always single hearted in love. Remember back at how we thought something else was so important? We all lusted for something or someone thiinking that our heart would find fulfillment. Oh satan is a master of baiting his trap. What was a great desire turned out to be a perversion of God's love. Anything in place of love for God and loving our neighbour as our self satan twists into something ugly. Bondage's of lust, perversions of body and soul. Addictions and desires that take over ones life. Demons of lust pushing us down to the brink of hell.

1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
1Co 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Oh my Lord and my God. Thank you for lifting me up out of the miry clay and setting my feet on the Rock! I Sing praises unto the Lord all the day long. He is worthy, He is worthy!
