Faith Like Abraham

Gen 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Gen 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Righteousness by faith in the only God. Faith is good, but first we must be approached by God; are you listening? Are you responding to his call as did Abraham, the father of faith? Abraham heard the calling of God and he obeyed. Do you obey when God has called you? Do you come to Jesus to be reconciled to God?

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Will you come by faith to Jesus Christ the Son of God and begin your new eternal life? First the call and then obedience to every command of God. Faith like Abraham leads us to seek a city made without hands. Our citizenship is in God's kingdom; we are to be his witnesses to bring others too him. Have you believed me? 

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
