Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the
day is the evil thereof.
Reading the news can cause great concern about the future of
our nation.But these things must come to pass before the Lord's return.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil of it. We are not to live in fear of what
might be, nor are we to be as fools, but wise. I see that we are to live day to
day by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. This is no new message, but perhaps we
are more aware now of our closeness to the Lord. Live not as fearful people of
the world, but if you belong to Jesus live each day under his blood, doing his
work. We should prepare as best we can for the future, but we are to trust the
LORD and live each day trusting in him. Take my hand Lord and lead me
on.
