The Bible shows the flaws in men, even great men like Jacob and David had their sins. Joseph was a man of God that had no apparent sins. He was the favorite of his
father Jacob. His brothers were jealous of him and were going to kill him, but
instead sold him into slavery while telling their father that he had been killed
by a wild animal. Although away from his family, the LORD was with him. Joseph
had an excellent spirit and was favored by God so that wherever he went God
turned evil for good in his life.
Gen 39:1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an
officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands
of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.
Gen 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
Gen 39:3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
Gen 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
Gen 39:3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
God goes with those who are saved by faith in Jesus, no matter what may
happen, we are never alone.
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content
with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor
forsake thee.
Heb 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
