New Beginning

I am starting to read through the Bible again. It is my desire to do a daily sharing from something that I read, not too long, hopefully.

Gen 1:23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Gen 1:24  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Gen 1:25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Each day of creation was defined as evening and morning. This is the Jewish day, from sunset to sunrise, until the next sunset. We consider a day as from midnight to midnight in our society. The important thing to see is that the creation is defined as literal days. Not thousand year days, or any such thing to accommodate man's ideas, such as evolution. God created, the creation did not evolve over millions of years by chance.

Every created living thing brought forth life, being fruitful. Homosexuality is in opposition to the natural order of things. Women's rights and pro choice are just words to disguise the destruction of babies at some stage of development. We must answer to God for our choices. Always he seeks goodness, righteousness and mercy. Jesus came to pay for our bad choices, our sins. There is forgiveness in him. God has given us order and the best way to live. His life for us is in Jesus.

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
