Deu 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
The LORD God spoke to Joshua that he would go before them as they entered the promise land. The LORD would be with them as they fought the battles against the enemy nations.
We have battles to fight as well. Fear, illness, the unknown, caring for a dying loved one. Jesus promises to those who believe in him to be with them.
Heb 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Heb 13:6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
Jesus has overcome death and will bring us with him to the Heavenly Father.
1Co 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
1Co 15:55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Only believe, for faith is rewarded. Jesus is at your side and he knows the future. We can go through the doors of life because he goes with us. He knows the way, he cares, he loves you.
