Exo 40:34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and
the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Exo 40:35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Exo 40:37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
Exo 40:38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

What an awesome sight, to see God as a cloud by day and fire by night. He
led the people and his presence was in the tabernacle sanctuary. The expression,
"do not put God in a box." May have originated from his presence in the ark of
the covenant. He was there, but he also led the people. He also came upon
certain people, as he did Moses and David. Now his presence is in the Christian,
the holy place of God. Our bodies are his dwelling place with us. We are to be
holy. The Holy Spirit with us is our comforter, God in us, our teacher and our
guide.
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of
God dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also
in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Jonh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

We are not alone, he goes with us.
