There are lots of verses about forgiveness, but this one adds repentance to forgiveness. Is this a way out of forgiving a brother if he will not repent?
Luk 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother
trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

I assume that a brother is one who is of like faith. If a
brother sins against you and repents, then we are to forgive him. What if he
will not repent? Repentance is required for true forgiveness. If he will not
repent, then we give him to the Lord. A brother in the Lord should know right
from wrong so we cannot say that he doesn't know what he has done. Pray that God
will convict him and leave it with God. We are not to harbor ill feelings
towards a brother. Just do not give him opportunity to sin again against you.
Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil Lord. If the brother is a
family member who does not know the Lord, then we forgive him and like Jesus we
may pray, forgive him, for he knows not what he has done. If he sins willingly,
give him to the Lord and do not harbor ill will, for it will interfere with your
worship. Make sure that you are not the cause of the offence. Love your brother
and give him mercy. He may be unaware of any wrong doing.

the judgment:
Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Mat 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

In truth, we all have sinned for no one is perfect. Do not be
casting stones. Forgiveness is a gift that we may give, for we have received it from God. His love we have received, so we are to give love as well.
