Mat 26:55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye
come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily
with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
Mat 26:56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Jesus was no threat, not a criminal and not dangerous. He was described by
the prophet Isaiah:
Isa 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul
delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the
Gentiles.
Isa 42:2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
Isa 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Isa 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Isa 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
Isa 42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
Isa 42:7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

Jesus was given to us for a new covenant in his blood. He had no evil, did
not deserve the torture and cruel suffering death. He did it alone, for all
forsook him. He took our sins upon himself and taking our sins he experienced
separation, even for a short time from His Father in heaven.
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,
Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou
forsaken me?
The soul part of Jesus was as a man in agony feeling forsaken by God, but
his spirit was always one with God. He died alone shedding his blood for our
sins. He was risen by the power of the Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit
raised him from the grave. Will you follow him now?
