Envy

Gen 27:39 And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;
Gen 27:40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
Gen 27:41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

It was told before their birth that the older twin would serve the younger.

Gen 25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
Gen 25:22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
Gen 25:23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

Gen 25:28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
Gen 25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
Gen 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
Gen 25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
Gen 25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
Gen 25:33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

Esau showed contempt for his birthright, exchanging it for a bowl of stew. He was a type of the natural carnal man living by immediate desires and caring little about a godly inheritance. There would be hatred from Esau towards his brother Jacob. The children of Esau and the children of Ishmael would become great nations, but they would always have hatred for the children of Jacob. Jacob's name became Israel. The children of Ishmael and Esau would become the Arab nations. They would draw the sword against Israel until Messiah Jesus comes again. The Arab's can come to Jesus and receive the blessings of God with the children of God's promise. It is one by one that they must come and with the threat of the sword from their own people.

Why do the Muslims hate the people of Israel? Hatred comes from envy and jealousy.

Gen 27:41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him...

Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?

Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Put down your sword and receive Jesus Christ and a knew heart of love for all people.
