Things are on hold; don't you think that maybe God is trying to get our attention?
Jas 4:4 You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Jas 4:5 Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us"?
Jas 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
This Corona Virus plague has caused the world to shut down. Never has it been like this before in my lifetime. Yet, the world, it's thoughts and behavior are fed to us by the media. All the news wears me out. Escaping to violent or evil entertainment on computers or television keeps the mind captive to the worldly thinking of corrupt godless minds.
I consider this time as a wake up call. Many souls were perishing before this plague. It just seems like things could end more quickly now. It is a time to walk wisely in this beautiful creation of God. Seek the things of God and put your efforts towards being a blessing to others. We are more fulfilled when we are following God and not the world's thinking. Now is a good time to get things done on a personal level. What is it that God would have us to do?
