If I were the devil I would want everyone to see me as a good
ol' boy, one of us. I would puff you up and blame someone else for your
problems. I would help you out with bribes and false promises, while planning
your destruction. I would be about my business to steal, kill and destroy you
and the nation. Those who oppose the good ol' boy are weak and without power
because the good ol' boy controls the news and the opinions of the world. The
world loves him, because he is like them. The good ol' boy is popular with the
ladies, especially those who are careless about lusts. He is a great speaker, in
fact the world gave him the highest award as a man of peace for his words. If
you look carefully the good ol' boy does the opposite of what he says. Most
cannot see this because he has their eyes covered and their ears only hear what
they want to hear. The only way to defeat the good ol boy is by returning to the
real man of peace, the Lord Jesus Christ. He has defeated the ol' boy; that old
dragon satan who controls the minds of the unredeemed. If you see the good ol'
boy for what he is, do not be consumed with worry, do not hide yourself
in activities or other entertainment. Give your concerns to the LORD, repent,
pray and follow the LORD closely, only he knows what to do.
Jas 4:1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights
among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you?
Jas 4:2 You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask.
Jas 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.
Jas 4:4 You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Jas 4:5 Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us"?
Jas 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Jas 4:9 Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
Jas 4:11 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
Jas 4:12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the
mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,
1Pe 5:7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1Pe 5:9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
1Pe 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
1Pe 5:11 To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

All praise honor and glory to God, through his son, the Lord
